
Simone Centonze
Born in 1996 and raised in Lecce (Italy), Simone has been studying ballet and modern contemporary dance since he was young, completing his training at the “Scuola del Balletto del Sud”, directed by Fredy Franzutti. After his high school diploma, in 2014, he moved to Rome, where he perfected his dance studies and began studying Musical Theatre at the “A.S.D. Lydia Turchi Danza e Musical,” graduating in 2016.
In 2018, he joined the cast of the Italian production of “West Side Story,” directed by Federico Bellone (W.E.C. production), playing the role of “Indio”, and performed at prestigious theaters such as “Maggio Musicale Fiorentino” in Florence and “Carlo Felice” in Genoa.
In 2019, he toured with actor and director Gennaro Cannavacciuolo in his theatrical production “Allegra era la Vedova?”, performing as a solo dancer.
In 2019 and 2020, under the direction of Chiara Noschese and choreographer Fabrizio Angelini, he joined the ensemble of the award-winning musical “Singin’ in the Rain” (Stage Entertainment production), at “Teatro Nazionale” in Milan.
Between 2021 and 2022, he made several appearances during Milan Fashion Week, performing as a dancer for important brands, such as BOSS (choreographed by Alessandra Valenti) and ZEGNA (choreographed by Sadeck). He also starred in the premiere of Alessandro Cattelan’s TV show “Da Grande” on RAI1 and in the Italian TV commercial for Steven Spielberg's “West Side Story,” aired on SKY Cinema Italy.
In 2022, he made a comeback on stage with the Italian production of the musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” directed and choreographed by Luciano Cannito (produced by Fabrizio di Fiore Entertainment). He will star again in the same show in 2024, playing “Daniel,” one of the seven brothers.
In 2023, he was chosen for the ensemble of the iconic musical “CABARET” (produced by Fabrizio di Fiore Entertainment, directed by Luciano Cannito and Arturo Brachetti), touring around Italy until 2025, with over 120 performances. In “CABARET,” Simone portrays the ambiguous and sensual “Victor” and has the honor of being the understudy for the lead role “Emcee,” played by Arturo Brachetti.
Alongside his artistic career, in 2020 Simone graduated in Medicine and Surgery at “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore”, in Rome, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, and later enrolled in the Pediatric Residency at “Università Statale” in Milan.
